Darryl Atkins and his promotions group, AGM Sports, today announced the initial details for a Supermoto featured racing event that will create a whole new mold for Supermoto motorcycle racing in the USA……and the world!

With a date set for October of 2010 at Palm Beach International Raceway (http://www.racepbir.com/index.php)….(formally Moroso Motorsports Park) located in Jupiter, Florida, this event is set to not only redefine the way Supermoto racing is exhibited, buthttp://supermotoonline.com/FIM%20Photo%201%20x%20250.jpg motorsports in general! With a pre-event promotion that highlights the racing and the racers, and a purse and exposure that will make it viable and desirable for the riders, teams and sponsors alike!

AGM Sports will have one of the premier Supermoto track builders involved in track design and preparation, and the layout will be incorporated into an existing, “spectator friendly” circuit.

Of course the big news is two-fold……the purse is going to be the biggest single race purse ever for Supermoto….($75-100,000), and the television audience will be reaching a worldwide audience, just like the ESPN produced Summer X Games does, without the dilution of a collage of “other” action sports!

All this in a format that will pit the best of the USA….(Jeff Ward, Mark Burkhart, Cassidy Anderson, Micky Dymond, Derek Costella, Brandon Currie, and more) versus the best that Europe has to offer……Thierry Van den Bosch, Ivan Lazzarini, Sylvain Bidart, Adrien and Thomas Chareyre, Davide Gozzini and MORE!

TV exposure, a huge purse, rider appearances guaranteed……what better reason for a factory to get involved! With a year to get all the details dialed in and sorted out this is just the shot in the arm that Supermoto….(and motorsports in general) needs right now!
Stay tuned here to SuperMotoOnline for all that is transpiring with this event............. and spread the word!!

An official press release will be forthcoming in the next couple weeks and those that would like more information and/or sponsorship details can contact AGM Sports via.....
