K&N Engineering, Inc. Enters XDL Sportbike Freestyle Championship for 2009 Season
Los Angeles, CA (May 13, 2009) -- The XDL Sportbike Freestyle Championship is proud to announce a partnership with K&N Engineering to sponsor the K&N Circle Challenge competition for the 2009 season. The K&N Circle Challenge pits two riders head-to-head in a bracket competition to see who can perform 10 circle wheelies the fastest. It is a very challenging competition that gets the audience involved because it is so easy to follow and the winners are established right away. During the 2008 season the Circle Challenge generated some fierce battles as Shin Kinoshita from Japan won the last three events and had the whole field gunning for him.
"A K&N High-Flow Air Filter is important to stunters, as they really give that added throttle response needed to help pop the bike up on a wheel stand", says K&N Sales Manager, Nick O'Kane. "K&N's Performance Oil Filters are also something we really want to get the word out about. Most riders are not aware of how they can benefit performance sportbikes." The K&N - XDL partnership will include having K&N Filters' on site to help educate riders on the true product benefits, tuning and servicing questions that will typically come about on their High-Flow Air Filters. The K&N - XDL partnership will also include on site K&N filter installs and dyno testing for the public at select events. This adds an interactive element to the sponsorship activation that allows the consumer to make a direct connection with the product and experience its benefits.
