The z-Start Clutch is a retrofit automatic clutch for off-road motorcycles and ATVs. The Rekluse Clutch works using centrifugal force to automatically and smoothly engage the clutch. Instead of having to use the clutch lever, you simply control the bike with the throttle. As a rider, all you need to concentrate on is the terrain in front of you--the z-Start manages the clutch operation better than you ever thought possible. The z-Start provides precise control of speed and power in technical terrain, increases cornering speed by maximizing traction, reduces fatigue byRekluse rider Jesse Barstow eliminating manual clutch operation, and virtually eliminates stalls--even after a crash.
For experienced riders worried about losing manual clutch control, we've developed the new z-Start Pro Clutch. With the z-Start Pro, it's like having two clutches in one: all the benefits of our z-Start Clutch, and the ability to override the automatic clutch at any RPM with stock-like clutch lever feel. The z-Start Pro even improves motocross starts, minimizing wheelspin and putting perfect traction to the ground.
Both the z-Start and z-Start Pro come with a 30-day money back guarantee. If for any reason you are unhappy with how the Clutch performs in the first 30 days of use, simply contact Rekluse or your dealer for a return authorization and we will gladly refund your purchase. Additionally, the Clutch is backed by a 1-year warranty against defects in material or workmanship on all Rekluse-manufactured parts.

Rekluse has a wide variety of clutches. No matter what kind of off-road vehicle you have, you can improve it with their product. They have all sorts of options as to which clutch and or the Z-start brake you should use.
I am currently running a Z-start PRO and Rekluse clutch cover on my 2008 Yamaha YZ250F. I put the clutch to the test daily at a local race tracks and practice tracks. Most of the races that i run are dead engine start, having this clutch makes second gear starts a breeze.
Mid-range the bike pulls hard all the way threw the top end. I would recommend the clutch to any and all skill levels.
Now many peoples riding styles are not the same. I like to ride a gear higher. Right about mid range. Nice and smooth. Witch makes the clutch work hard, I can really ride my bike hard, like at a motocross and it seems to be lacking that seat bounce power that you really need some times. I can come out of corners and grab a handful and it'll pull me out hard.
Some times you get in to pretty harry situations on the trail and That's where the magic of the clutch happens. Really tight woods and mud is were you fall in love with Rekluse. One of the other sweet quality's of the clutch is if You fall the bike stays running. I put this to the test at the Alligator Enduro in Daytona Beach FL. There was a slower rider in front of me and i went to slide under him in a corner, (BAD CALL) I ended up hitting him and his bike was on top of mine. i proceeded to push his bike off mine and all i had to do was turn the throttle!! The bike was still running and in gear ready to rock.
All in all, the Rekluse Z-start PRO is an amazing clutch to have tested. this is mostly based on woods racing.
