Body: Corona Extra Honda Racing is pleased to announce that an agreement with American Honda has been reached to acquire the services of former World Superbike Champion Neil Hodgson for the 2009 AMA Superbike season.


Tim Saunders, principal of Corona Extra Honda Racing, said, "Neil demonstrated when he rode for us in 2007 that he has the talent, the determination and the experience to race up front with the best and compete for the American Superbike Championship aboard the Corona Extra Honda Racing CBR1000RR superbike. We are also very pleased to acquire the services of some of Neil’s former American Honda Racing crew members to further strengthen our team.
Neil's quest to earn the American Superbike championship title is now definitely on track!"

2009 marks the third year of a flourishing Corona Extra Honda marketing/racing program. 2008 saw two class wins and numerous podiums for the awesome Corona Extra Honda CBR1000RR and with Neil riding the Team is confident that even more victories will be won in the coming season.

Think this might be good for Neil, he needs some good rides to sort his head out, think he's been a bit side tracked for the last couple of years.

He aint a bad rider and in his day, could mix it with the best, not sure anymore though?!?!?

The flip side of the whole situation. I really feel bad for Jake after the way he rode last season.
