ROAD RACING - Daytona Schedule

The first ever Daytona 200 by Honda will start at 8:00 p.m. on Friday night, March 6, a day after the American Superbike race, according to a schedule on the AMA Pro Racing website.
The schedule is a three-day weekend, but not your typical weekend, with American Superbike practice and qualifying taking place over less than two days. In theory, a Superbike team could show up on Tuesday and leave Thursday evening, after the conclusion of the 50-mile, 3:30 p.m. Superbike race on the Short Course.
Opening ceremonies for the 200 start at 7:15, with the race going green under the lights on the Long Course at 8:00 p.m.
Though not listed on the schedule, the rain date for the 200 is Sunday, March 8, the day after the Daytona Supercross.
