Hello I'm new here from southern IN. Been looking at these 450's and think I might be intrested in buying one or building one. Ride a 06 ZX10R right now. and been doing a few track days the past few years. and next spring I think I might start racing. So any info on the 450's would be great. How much on averge do they coast to build, and how hard to build??

On average about $4000 - there are some parts you can find used so the price fluctuates.

Very simple to build - no welding or advanced skills needed

The parts needed to do conversion -
setback plates and rearsets
tank skin
shifter and rod
fairing brackets
steering stem (if you use R6 front end)

If you had a stack of parts you could do a conversion in a day (if you are familiar with the bike) - about a weekend if you were doing for the first time
