First off, im going to start this review by saying that you should buy SIDI boots and never buy anything else. Ever since my racing career began, I ran Alpinestar's. From Tech 7, Tech 8 and Tech 10's. Dont get me wrong though. I loved my A-stars....after they were fully broken in about 4 races into my racing season. But with the SIDI crossfire dirt bike boot, my first ride in the boot felt like I've had the boots for a full season. I had full range of movement and not the stiff as a board feel and were adjustable just about anywhere.
The SIDI boot has a Dual-Flex system which awesome for great forward and backwards movement; it's strong side to side giving the protection you want as well. Also with the four independent straps, the Crossfire can provide each rider with a personal fit no matter the body shape or if the racer uses knee braces or not.
Replacing your soles on boots is a pain. Gotta send em out. Pay to much. Wait for the return. Thats valuable shredding time your wasting. But with ALL SIDI boots, you can replace the sole (along with every other part of the boot) yourself. You simply need a screw driver and some locktight along with SR quarter turn screws included. (SR-sole replacement) Another sweet thing is that if you race moto along with supermoto or any kind of road racing, you can switch up the soles from dirt to street in no time flat with the same boot. You also have a wide variety of customization with these boots. blue straps, red plastics. visa versa, etc...
Now you can't get awesomeness like this for cheap. They can run up to about $500. But these boots will last forever. Each part is interchangeable and adjustable. Each model (dirt and street) is awesome. Go buy them and go fast.
